Accessibility Statement
We want this website to be usable by as many people as possible, including people who browse with a keyboard, a screen reader, magnification, or their own colour and motion settings.
1General
This statement covers the Shinobi AI website at shinobi-ai.io, operated by D.A Software and Strategy Ltd. It does not cover Shinobi Clinix, the Saltiz mobile application, or any other system, each of which is separate and has its own accessibility position.
Accessibility was built into this site as it was designed, rather than added afterwards. An accessibility menu is available from the button in the top-right of every page.
2Standard and goal
Our goal is to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA. We are describing a target we design and test against, not a certification.
We do not claim full WCAG compliance. No external accessibility audit has been carried out, no accessibility certification has been issued, and no third party has reviewed this site. Everything stated below has been tested by us, internally.
The operator, D.A Software and Strategy Ltd, is a company registered in Israel, so the Israeli service-accessibility regulations and standard IS 5568 may apply to this website. We are confirming whether they do, and this statement will be updated if so.
3Measures implemented
The following are built and working on this site today:
Structure and navigation
- Semantic HTML5 landmarks — header, navigation, main and footer.
- Exactly one first-level heading per page, with headings nested in order and no levels skipped.
- A skip to main content link, the first thing reachable by keyboard on every page.
- Descriptive page titles and a meta description unique to each page.
Keyboard
- Every link, button and control is reachable and operable by keyboard alone, in a logical order.
- A clearly visible focus ring on every interactive element, which is never removed.
- The accessibility menu and the mobile navigation menu both open with the keyboard, close with Escape, and return focus to the button that opened them.
- Menus report their state with
aria-expanded, and toggle controls report theirs witharia-pressed. - No keyboard trap anywhere on the site.
Reading and seeing
- Text and interface colours meet or exceed the WCAG AA contrast minimums, verified by measurement across every page at desktop, tablet and phone widths.
- The layout reflows without horizontal scrolling down to a 320 pixel viewport, and supports browser zoom to 200%.
- Informative images carry meaningful alternative text; decorative images are given an empty
altso screen readers pass over them. - Colour is never the only way information is conveyed.
Motion
- The operating system setting reduce motion is respected automatically: entrance animations and transitions are switched off.
- The same can be switched on from the accessibility menu, for people whose system setting says nothing.
- There is no flashing, blinking or strobing content, no auto-playing video or audio, no carousel that moves on its own, and no scroll hijacking.
Accessibility menu
The menu is built in-house. No commercial accessibility overlay is used on this site, and none will be. It offers:
- Text size — three steps, up to 125%.
- High contrast — a genuine alternative colour palette built from the site's own colour tokens. It is not a CSS filter applied over the page.
- Reduce animation — stops entrance animation and transitions.
- Underline links — underlines links throughout.
- Reset settings — returns everything to default and removes the stored values.
The menu is operable by keyboard and reported correctly to screen readers. Your choices are saved as four preference values in your own browser and are never sent anywhere — see section 5 of the Privacy Policy.
4Known limitations
We would rather name these than leave you to find them:
- No external audit. Testing to date is our own. The site has not been reviewed by an accessibility specialist and has not been tested with every combination of browser and assistive technology.
- Screenshots of the Saltiz application. These show a Hebrew, right-to-left interface. Their alternative text describes what the screen is and why it is shown; it does not transcribe every label inside the image.
- The text size control does not reach every heading. The largest display headings are sized against the window width at some intermediate screen sizes, and at those sizes they do not respond to the control. Browser zoom does resize them, and is supported to 200%.
- Third-party content. Where the site links out, we cannot control the accessibility of the destination.
- Testing on the live site is not finished. Some checks can only be carried out against the production domain — real assistive-technology testing, for example — and those are not yet complete.

6Reporting a problem
If something on this site is difficult or impossible for you to use, please tell us. It helps if you can include:
- the address of the page;
- what you were trying to do;
- what happened instead;
- the browser, device and any assistive technology you were using.
We will acknowledge your message and tell you what we intend to do about it. Where we can fix something quickly, we will.
7Status of this statement
This statement was prepared on 16 September 2026, based on our own review of the site as built on that date.
We review it whenever the site changes in a way that affects accessibility, and at least once a year. If an external audit is carried out in future, this statement will be updated to say so, by whom, and what it found.
